Rosina Wiparata Garden
Back in 2010, the extraordinary Rosina Wiparata Garden was unveiled in Brockville. This community garden, made possible by the generous offer of land from Brockville Full Primary School, has become a flourishing space for residents to cultivate their own vegetables.
Inspiring a sense of unity and collaboration, the garden is divided into several plots that are available to anyone in Brockville.
The Rosina Wiparata Garden is not just about individual harvests; it embodies the spirit of giving back. Any surplus vegetables are donated to our remarkable initiatives, Brockville Connect4Food (provide link) and Brockville Pātaka Kai (provide link). By participating in this community garden, not only do you enjoy the fruits of your labor, but you also contribute to
feeding those in need.
If you are passionate about gardening and want to make a positive impact in our community, we invite you to join us as a volunteer. By dedicating your time and skills to the Rosina Wiparata Garden/Brockville Orchard, you can help maintain these beautiful spaces and support its mission of providing fresh, locally grown produce for all.
