Pataka Kai
There are four pataka kai in the community with more to come. Community members can drop off surplus food at one of these locations:
- Lower Brockville Road
- Nutsford St
- Saunders St
Steady as you go
On Tuesdays, the team meet at Brockville Church located at 274 Brockville Road. They have some
low fitness activities for residents and the cost is $3.
Rosina Wiparata Garden & Community Orchard
The community garden is located between Brockville Full Primary School and Te Kōhanga Reo o Whakaari. Children from Brockville Kindergarten, Te Kōhanga Reo o Whakaari and Te Kaha Kids after school programme work hard in the Spring and Summer months to plant some vegetables. The harvest is enjoyed by the community. The orchard is located in Turnbull St. There are blueberries and cranberries plants that have been planted for the community to enjoy.
